US Department of Agriculture
USDA Headquarters Chief Information Office (CIO) was notified of a cyber attack and SecureForce was requested to perform a forensic analysis of the compromised network and system environments. SecureForce deployed Senior Security Engineering resources to determine if intellectual property or proprietary information was compromised. Following the investigation, SecureForce provided enhanced protection and monitoring capabilities to defend sensitive data from being accessed and exploited.
US and international infrastructure and volunteer support applications require continuous monitoring, risk assessment and compliance assessment. SecureForce was asked to conduct an enterprise risk assessment and multiple compliance assessments to determine the security posture and compliance status of the Peace Corp enterprise. We deployed Senior Security Engineering resources to several locations to conduct multiple risk and compliance assessments of network infrastructure, Voice Over IP (VoIP) platforms, and enterprise deployed applications.
US Department of Jusice
The agency required dedicated staff to support the deployment, operations, monitoring and maintenance of numerous IT security products. Agency was also required to conduct compliance and risk assessments for its IT infrastructure and applications. SecureForce was asked to deploy and manage multiple Firewall and IDS platforms. Custom design redundant security systems in a 24x7 production environment. Manage configuration backups, Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures and Continuity Of Operations Planning (COOP). Develop incident response and vulnerability management capability. Conduct compliance and risk assessments to determine the security posture of infrastructure and applications. We deployed Senior Security Engineering resources in support of a challenging and fast paced deployment, management and operational schedule. Security engineering resources also conducted continuous compliance and risk assessments.
US Army Knowledge Online
AKO had mission critical data that required a secure IT perimeter and secure access via remote sites as well as multiple layers of defense against intrusion. SecureForce was contracted to deploy and manage multiple Firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) in a 24x7 Security Operations Center (SOC) production environment. Enterprise system backups, a Disaster Recovery (DR) and Continuity Of Operations Planning (COOP) programs were also tasked to SecureForce. SecureForce deployed Senior Security Engineering resources to multiple locations insupport of a challenging and fast paced deployment, management and operational schedule.
BAE's corporate security policy was difficult to enforce and monitor across an extensive IT enterprise consisting of multiple operating groups and business units each with their own IT infrastructure. SecureForce was contracted to define requirements, identify potential products, perform extensive technology evaluations of products and recommend a compliance monitoring and enforcement solution. SecureForce deployed Senior Security Engineering resources to interview project stakeholders, develop and refine organizational requirements, then translate the business requirements into technology specifications. Potential vendors were identified and down-selected. Every product was deployed in a lab environment and assessed against the technology requirements to identify the best fit for the organization.
Defense Information Systems Agency
To provide increased mission effectiveness and collaborative capabilities, a global directory service was required to enable a single interface to deployed U.S. Military Personnel in the theatre of war while abstracting the consolidation of multiple, disparate data sources. SecureForce was contracted to ensure the secure design and deployment of an enterprise directory service capability to the Department of Defense. We deployed Senior Security Engineering resources to assist application architects and developers during the design, testing and deployment of an enterprise-class solution that provides global directory services in a secure manner compliant with applicable Department of Defense (DoD) IT security requirements.
Noble's expansion to additional international locations and reliance upon external contractors raised management concerns related to the ability to protect corporate intellectual property (IP). SecureForce was asked to conduct a security posture assessment to determine the ability of existing controls to protect and monitor Noble IP. SecureForce deployed Senior Security Engineering resources to multiple locations to conduct a security posture assessment of the IT enterprise and determine the risk posed to corporate IP.
